Spring Summer 2025

Fritzi Ritz

Rise and shine! Talia Byre’s Spring Summer 2025 collection, “Fritzi Ritz,” is here to break your morning routine. The tea’s steeping, toast is buttered, hair’s brushed, ties are neatly knotted. But wait—there it is, the TV flickering in the background, pulling you in with the technicolour of your favourite morning cartoons. This collection is a playful wink to those moments, urging you to ditch the mundane and embrace a bit of F-U-N. Lose the tie, hike up that skirt, and let your hair do its thing. Yabba-dabba-doo, or whatever.

Is it Dennis the Menace, Scooby-Doo, or The Flintstones? Doesn’t matter. Whatever your fix, it sets the mood. This collection dives into cartoon classics and flips them through the Talia Byre lens. Picture louche jersey tops and three-quarter length shorts in Dennis the Menaces red and black stripes. Rich purple separates—from ruffle-hemmed striped dresses and drawstring culottes to miniature Bolter bags—nod to Daphne’s mystery-solving look in Scooby-Doo. Chains that once dangled around your first boyfriend’s neck now edge the hems of lightweight dresses and flamenco skirts, along with the skeleton of an oversized T-shirt (the ghost of your ex’s past, perhaps).

And then, there’s the It-girl allure. Signature rugby tops morph into dresses in shimmering gold and pink jersey, towing the line between preppy and glam. Amidst the smorgasbord of hues, neutral tones find their place. But these aren’t for the faint of personality—they pulse with texture, drama, and exaggerated forms. Cream shearling puff-ball mini dresses come strapless, with a tan stripe print running through them for extra pzazz (they appear as in froufrou mini skirts and fuzzy gilets, too). Deer-printed jersey and nylon transform into long-sleeve tops and leggings, while cream suede jackets are finished with distinctive red piping, elevating the buttery-soft draped silhouette.

So, what’s it going to be? Will you play it safe, or take the plunge? In Talia Byre, fortune favours the bold—you might just get lucky.
